The Nga Pari estate is run in a collaborative manner, working with the local community to ensure the vines are in premium condition and with the assistance of local winemaker Jon McNabb. The family-owned vineyard aims to create wines that show off the local terroir and the exceptional climate for winemaking that is this particular part of Wairarapa. Clean, bright, and primary on the nose with blackberry compote aromas supported by cocoa nut, cedar, brown spice, and dark chocolate characters. Sweet, opulent cherry/black forest gateau flavours are evident on the palate with firm acid, chewy tannins to provide structure.
