Nobody has more experience growing grapes in Marlborough than Allan Scott. Allan planted some of the region's most famous vineyards, including the very first and has worked the land there every vintage since. Many of the vineyards he developed have gone on to win global recognition. In 1985, Allan bought land in the Rapaura district of Marlborough. This was to become the home of the family wine making venture.

A complex and alluring bouquet of jasmine, pear, ginger and honeysuckle, intertwined with a zesty hint of mandarin peel. On the palate this wine is textural, rich and full-bodied, with concentrated stone fruit and spicy pear flavours, which persist on a long and juicy palate.

Pure with a delicate structure, finishing crisp and dry. On the palate, stonefruit and pear flavours dominate, followed up with a touch of citrus at the finish.

Babydoll's BABYDOLL sheep live beneath the vines, nibbling on grass and weeds and giving their name to these delicious wines. Small but mighty, they're wonderful groundskeepers. Yes, they need a little help to keep the mowing going. But it's all for the good of the grapes.

The palate is luscious and concentrated with stonefruit and mandarin notes and and a lingering lime and mineral finish.

A dry, elegant Pinot Gris named in honour of the wife of Church Road Patriarch, Tom McDonald.

Fruit is left longer on the vine to increase concentration and accentuate the floral and spice notes of these grapes.

Appealing ripe pear, peach, rose water and ginger spice aromas are evident on the nose. On the palate the wine is lush and full bodied with a moderate level of sweetness balanced by gentle acidity and a touch of ginger spice on the finish.

Generous aromas of ripe pear & white flowers are followed with a palate boasting fruit sweetness & moreish fresh acidity.

On the nose, nashi pear and white blossom greet you with supporting notes of citrus and candied ginger. On the palate, the wine is concentrated and poised with bright flavours of pear and lychee. A full bodied luscious palate with a juicy acidity carries through the palate giving the wine great drinkability and pairing with a variety of spicier dishes.

Inspired by the winding road leading from Queenstown to Kingston along the shores of Lake Wakatipu and sourced from Rockburn's Central Otago vineyards, the Devil's Staircase Pinot Gris takes the willing down into the realm of decadence and Bacchanalian delights.

The Gold River Pinot Gris is a brilliant, pale straw colour. A very fresh nose with floral and stonefruit notes. The palate is full, with a clean fruit character and refreshing acidity. With plenty of depth, it finishes off dry and long.
