The John Martin Pinot Noir is crafted from the best vineyard parcels. Intense spicy aromas are balanced by rich, dark fruits.

Harmonious, lifted aromas full of tropical fruits, melon and nectarine, balanced by floral and herbal notes.

Bullnose is a dark ruby colour with aromas and fl avours of violets, black cherry liqueur and spice, intermingled with notes of prune and raspberry. The rich, full flavoured palate displays velvety, even tannins.

Barrel fermented with touches of semillon and Suavignon Gris, it is concentrated and complex with toast, citrus blossom, pear and stonefruit characters.

Coleraine is New Zealand's most famous red wine, first produced in 1982, this classic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc displays the concentration, complexity and elegance found in the world's finest wines. 2023 shows a regal brilliant magenta hue, with blackcurrant and brooding complexity on an immensely concentrated palate. Raspberry, white flowers, soy, and espresso, arise on driftwood smoke, creating a fresh, elevated, coastal sensation, in an intense, tannin-rich, sculptured wine that's captivating and irresistibly endless. This is Coleraine essence - a majestic statement of a place, a time, and a lineage.

Sourced exclusively from Te Mata Estate's own vineyards. This Estate Vineyards Chardonnay was harvested from Bridge Pa Triangle, Woodthorpe Terraces and Havelock Hills vineyards. White gold in the glass, immediate refreshing appeal of ripe nectarine and lemon sorbet edged with sea-salt, roast almond and a hint of smoke from French oak. Delicious on its own, or a wonderful partner for both simply prepared and fuller flavoured seafood and white meat dishes.

Aromas of black cherry, wild strawberry and star anise. The palate is soft and pillowy with a racing-stripe of boysenberry ripple through it. There are dark roses, raspberries, and notes of sandalwood and liquorice.

Aromas of ripe strawberry, raspberry, lavender and nutmeg. Hints of vanilla and smoke float across a palate that's dominated by soft red fruit and silky fine tannins.

Vibrant guava and vibrant passionfruit on the nose give way to gooseberry, coriander and aniseed on the palate - rich, complex botanicals that add alluring detail to this wine.

This Syrah includes a touch of Viognier, a traditional winemakeing technique in France's Rhone Valley. It introduces a delightful floral aroma and supple texture to Syrah's spicy dark berry flavours.

Bright violet purple, with good depth. Blackberry and plum fruit flavours dominate upfront. It then leads with some spicy notes of cinnamon and clove.

The distinctive characteristics of this wine derive from the acute sensitivity to climate variations of the nebbiolo grape, which when sourced in the heart of the wine production, can give great red wines from long ageing. This selection has matured up to 2 years, half of that in oak barrels.
